Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: Kudos to those who built this trail...what a shame that nature and vandlism reclaimed it so quickly. I visited Aug 18, 2008 to find some rock-solid catwalks still intact, but the rest of trail either washed out, overgrown due to lack of riding, or littered with broker glass. There were no tire tracks but mine. Next time I pass through Terra Haute, I'll bring a shovel instead of a bike.
Let's hope that intest develops in re-building it.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail in the area. A few technical sections. Lots of quick up and down hill area. One large table top made of wood about 6 feet tall and 20 feet long. Lots of potential come and help make it a even better. Recommended Route: take US 40 "wabash ave" west to 13th street..take a left on 13th street. Take 13th all the way to Hulman street. take a left on hulman go abut a 1/4 mile untill you get to the railroad tracks. Take the dirt/rock road "on your bike" on the east side of the tracks. Ride about 1/4 mile...keep looking to your left you'll see the trail head but look close it is a little hidden. There is a stack of wood just past the trail head. Other recommended trails in the same area: brown county
town run
kickapoo
Linton
