Weekend Warrior Summary: All I can say is "fun, fast, fun" all the posts have it right. This is not just for beginners! . I ride Fort Custer all the time and I think this more fin than any loop out there! They did an excellent job building this track. I hope the plans to add to it happens. Great camping close to trail head completes this experience.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail, no complaints here, like the surprise drops around the corners, the uphill rock garden was a setback for me, maybe I'll do better next time, I wouldn't call it a beginners trail, someone with limited experience may read that and go hog wild only to find themselves upside down. I give it two thumbs up! Other recommended trails in the same area: Winona Lake, Rum Village

Weekend Warrior Summary: Fun trail! Don't let the "Beginner" rating fool you. It almost kept me from going. Glad I took a chance and went! This is one fun trail if you want to spin the cranks. Probably the smoothest trail I've been on. There are no big hills to climb or downed trees to jump. There are some interesting rock sections. It has a nice flow through some slightly hilly landscape. The park itself is nice. Beach, picnic areas, hiking trails etc. Aerobic difficulty? The faster you ride, the higher the heart rate! $4.00 to get in. Go ride it! Recommended Route: Follow the signs. Good markings. 1st time there and I had no missed turns! Get a map at the entrance gate.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I went camping at Potato Creek and was not that excited about there new trail because it was rated beginner. I was very wrong. It is a beginner trail but its one of those great beginner trails that is very fast and flowing.
The trail is 6.6 miles but its worth doing a couple of laps so you can get your speed up. The trail is almost never straight and hardly ever flat. The turns are flowing and the hill are small but you can get some great speed. The trial is at the top end of beginner and a experienced rider will still have a great time.
Hats off to the guys that built it "great job". The web sight said they are going to build an advanced and intermedent trail. If the trail had 10 more miles potato creek could really became a mountain biking destination.
PS its also only 15 miles away from one of the only whitewater parks in the midwest the "East raceway"
Thanks for the great trail and I can't wait to go back next year and see what else you guys have done. Also it you can stay away from the one way routes, there's really not enough traffic to need it. Recommended Route: Go in a circle

Weekend Warrior Summary: Pretty nice trail. Still a bit rough, but getting much better. I've been taking guys there for their first ride's. Recommended Route: Follow trail markers. For a warm up/ cool down, you can ride the paved path. Park in the front of the park, ride the path to the back of the park, and pick up the trail. Then ride back to the front for a cool down. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rum village, Lawless
