nice single tracks and some downhills. mostly dry pack dirt and some gravel. lots of trails for the space
I-69(yeah) to st rd 109(bypass) follow into town, heading north. go past mounds mall on left until you reach bridge. on the left UAW sign(right after bridge) turn left just before Taco Bell and head for the UAW sign. you can see trailhead from there. then head under the bridge for supreme biking pleasure. land owned by anderson parks dept so be kind to the environment. this ensure mtn biking in anderson.......ps trails also good for mx
Summary: Tough trail, the multitude of technical elements (tons of logs, steep climbs, suspension bridges, rock gardens and other structures) are really challenging, especially for a novice or intermediate rider, my only gripe is that they should have some ride around trails so riders can bypass these if they like. Navigating around the various trails can be somewhat difficult at first, too. This trail has a ton of mogul ups and downs (probably around a 100 if I had to guess) and has a surprising amount of elevation change (it has several steep, long descents). The trail is fairly well maintained, and is fairly wide. The expert section makes up most of the distance of the trail. This trail becomes more satisfying once one has ridden it several times.
On a side note, this trail is in Anderson, and the Anderson park system has a long history for "lewd" activities. The past two times I've been there, there is always several middle aged men sitting in their cars with suspicious looks on their faces. The only people who should be here are 1) bikers, 2) runners, and 3) fishermen. I imagine the park has become, due to its seclusion, a haven for drug dealers among other weirdos. Anyone who visits the park should keep their eyes open, ride with a partner if possible, and report any suspicious activities.
Recommended Route: All of then

Summary: This trail is awesome. I read so many good things about this trail on hmba.com so I had to check it out. This trail offers non-stop action right from the start. Some of the trail was previously ATV trail so there are several bermed corners to keep your speed and lots of little
(2-8 ft high) hills. As a matter of fact there must be at least 100 or more of these hills. There is sand, mud, rocks, logs and just about any obstacle you can think of being on a trail. It doesn't have the high speed like others around but it's definately more challenging. What a change from the norm. YEAH!!! Go try this trail. You won't be dissapointed.
Recommended Route: Ride the black route. It's the longest and the most demanding. Just watch your speed if it's your fist time the corners come up quick.
Other recommended trails in the same area: 96th street. Very good trail that flows well.
Westwood. Big hills (for northern IN) and very fast.

Summary: Things have changed 100% for the better.
Rangeline is now open to bicycles, hikers, trail runners, and fishermen. The Hoosier Mountain Bike Association and DINO have taken on the leadership of a massive trail improvement project. Rangeline will soon have 7-8 miles on the longest route (black diamond) as well as easier shorter loops of green and blue marking.
There is also much potential for freeride park amenities... big jumps and technical stunts. Get involved and it will happen.
To ride the new course, park in the parking area on Rangeline Road, south of 10th Street, north of White River. You can look for Mounds State Park on your map and go about one mile to the west to find Rangeline.
We'll be having trail work days every Saturday at 9am. Please join us to make this into a riding destination!
Recommended Route: Go northward from the parking area. You will start on a combined green/blue/black trail for the first mile or so. Then, choose your ability level and distance preferences. You are in for a challenge on the black diamond course!

Summary: If you think this trail is easy, you are missing the real stuff. The wider trails are fairly easy but there is a loop of 3-4 miles you can ride that contains more than 50% super tight difficult tall whoops over and over with no rest. Go northward along the river about 1/2 mile or so then turn off onto some narrow paths you have been speeding past on the main trails.
Recommended Route: Find Jeff Carter and try to follow his wheel.

Summary: A smooth riding trail, small up and down hills, but relatively flat in most areas, it connects to the paved trails around the shady side park. The trail ends up in the old rock gravel pit on the east side of anderson. Its has a developing housing addition located on the hill that the trail runs along. So usually afew minutes ride in you encounter a few people, over all it a breeze of a trail and quiet.
