Weekend Warrior Summary: Most of the trail is very easy but there are a few sections that can get really rock and very technical. I just wish that there was more of the fun stuff. Recommended Route: park car near the swimming area. There is a trail that is just behind the cliffs near the swim area. These are the most technical and fun. Just follow the trail around the lake. Other recommended trails in the same area: kickapoo
scales lake
town run

Weekend Warrior Summary: I'm tired of hearing all the complaints. Since I'm the only one doing trail maintenance in this park I think I have the right. Granted their are alot of double track, but we are not the only users of these trails. The park can't survive on just the mountian bikers gate contribution. In the past 15 year their has been at least 4 miles of new trails added, these were difficult trails in the beginning. Of these trails 2.5 miles are now maintained by the park maintenance crew They are not mountian bikers, so they remove all the obstructions that we find chalenging. These are not changed to ruin our rides, but to please the general public. The general public's monertary contribution to the park is more like $500 to every $5.00 from MBing.
However if you have an open mind and look you can find all the challenges, you can handle. If you need help contact me and I can find you some. orniron@comcast.com Recommended Route: Try the new Biker's Surprise Trail or the trail around the east and southeast side of the swimming lake. I don't know anybody that can ride them both directions. Other recommended trails in the same area: I hate the 100 mile drive from my place, but Winona Lake in Warsaw is great. Nice trails and alway in good shape. Thanks to whoever is taking care of them.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Thsis trail is well kept, but not marked well at all. A lot of the trails are wide and clear (pretty boring). Not very technical overall. Lots of the trails have the rocks and roots that are painted bright colors so you can see them. Lots of level riding. Not much up and down. Is a great place for recreational riding. Recommended Route: Like I said the trails are not marked well, but it doesn't take long to get the swing of it.

Racer Summary: Anyone who likes to ride here, please listen. The park staff and park board need serious help. I'm the DINO Director... we have had races there for years. I just went to a park board meeting and they just don't get it. Please, contact the park and offer to help. Tell them you care about the trails. Get involved, play by their rules and help to create change... if you don't, you may lose access altogether.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a good place to ride. Yes, its flat, but look at where you are! This is Northern Indiana. In relative terms, its hilly. I live nearby and have not gotten tired of riding there.
I do want to note that the price is $5.00 to ride, not $7.50. If you're in the area, check it out.
