Weekend Warrior Summary: This is the first trail i've ever ridden. Some of the Gray Goat Sports Team were there giving us one on one instructional help. As a newbie, some of the technical aspects were extreme. We took the expert trails throughout. I had a couple of harsh crashes hehe. It was awesome and challenging.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Nice Layout! The easy (beginner) trails are well-marked, as are the advanced trail loops. My wife rode the easy trails while I tried out the advanced loops. I got a good workout & didn't feel like I was leaving her behind since easy & advanced loops intersect frequently. Watch for big roots on climbs on a few of the advanced trails. Not much intermediate trail. My wife got bored on the easy trails but didn't feel up to trying the advanced loops. Recommended Route: Take the main mulch-covered trail from the main parking lot near the shelter. Most of the advanced loops connect with the main system of easy trails. The last downhill section of Gamble's Run is a blast. The jump on Kimber Trail could use a bigger landing area (which is to close to a busy walking trail section). Watch for hikers walking the wrong way on the advanced trails!!!! Other recommended trails in the same area: Town Run, Westwood

Cross Country Rider Summary: When I first moved to Indy, this was the first trail that I did. It is a fun trail, but really not worth a drive out to it, unless you live close. It takes about 15min to ride all of the trails in the small park. Beginners will have a hard time on the harder trails, and advanced riders will just start to break a sweat once they finished riding all of the trails. Either way you will be smiling once your done. If you are in the area, go for it! Recommended Route: I park at the baseball dimond (back side) go over the bridge, take a left and start the loop of trails that way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Town Run- This trail is about 2 to 3 times longer with much more flowing single track.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is one of the more technical trails I have ridden around the Indianapolis area. The advanced trails are a great place to test your skills and fear factor. There is a few decent climbs that will test the uninitiated. Overall the park has trails for everyone. Recommended Route: For advanced riders:
Tredan's Pass to Cardinal to the left for Oriole, then Gambles run. Then find your way to Kimber trail for a medium climb and a few tricky decents. Other recommended trails in the same area: Town Run Park is the only other legit trail I know of in town.

, from Fishers Summary: Just rode this for the first time. I typically ride TRTP on 96th street and I can tell you Avon is about 5x's more technical. This makes TRTP look like a real beginner trail. I really loved the tight turns and drops over large rocks and roots. It really keeps you on your toes. I drove 45 minutes and think it was worth the drive. Wish it was a little longer but they have put as much trail as possible in such a small area. Great job. Recommended Route: Get a map and follow the signs. Other recommended trails in the same area: TRTP
