, from mooresville IN Summary: I just rode this trail this past weekend and man what a great workout it was. I cant say I ride all the time so I dont have very many trails to compare this one with but I must say it was well worth the drive. Beautiful scenery and some very nice inclines with tons of decent sized roots and rocks for obsticles. If you can keep momentum and stay on the path it can be loads of fun and im guessing i reached speeds of at least 30mph or more on some downhills (thank god for front shocks!). Intense rides but plenty of fun. Friendly encounters with other riders too. When coming back down the first hill (which is the worst one i think) be sure to thrash hard because its really one of the high points of the trail. All in all, loads of adrenaline fueled fun. My ratings are based on just riding on weekends/hardcore thrasher but not a cliff jumper by any means! Recommended Route: we went to the top of the first hill and went left down the main trail i believe.

, from Cincinnati, Ohio Summary: This place is a blast! Not a technical trail, but great fun just the same. The trail starts as a short Midring climb up from the parking lot. This section of trail is acutally the most technical. Once up at the top of the hill look for the trail entrance on your left. The trail is an out and back, 16 miles in all. The trail basically follows a ridgeline, constantly going up and down. The elevation changes are short, probably 50-75' of vertical change for each hill. If you ride this trail fast enough you will see some amazing average speeds on the old computer! Speeds over 20MPH are very normal on the downhill and flats. I'm sure some riders see 30+MPH. The first time I rode this trail it had just rained 2" that morning. I expected to get to the trailhead, see a mud mess and go home. But amazingly the trail was almost dry! I guess the soil makeup is kinda sandy, and most of the trail is on a ridge with great drainage. Now the best part of this trail is the downhill back to the car! This section that you climbed on the way in is a great, longer downhill. This is the most technical part of the ride, and by far the most fun. If you really want to "enjoy the ride", do this trail during the week, it gets busy on the weekends. Recommended Route: Start at the trail head just outside of Story, Indiana. , from Cumberland, Indiana Summary: Delany Park Trailhead is the place to camp. Pitch your tent close to the trail head past where a sign is planted stating "dead end". You will over look a beautiful meadow and a dammed lake. Beautiful. The park is well patroled by the county sheriff and is safe. People are friendly. There is shower facilities. There is a restaurant on site although I didn't venture inside. Approximately $10 per night for camping. I bought a bunch of firewood for the campfire for $5; fragrant, seasoned cedar logs. We encountered many frogs. Great hiking up and down the Knobstone ridge or escarpment. We did not bike the trail and I am not certain bikes are permitted on the trail. Contact Nila Anderson at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for more information. Have fun! mark... Recommended Route: South Loop from Delany Park is moderate North Loop from Delany Park is rugged

, from Indy, Indiana, USA Summary: Super smooth trail until you cross the road, where it can be somewhat chunky from horses. If you don't like chunky, you can stay on the diamond trail for fast riding. Some traffic on the weekends, but overall I have never felt like I was riding on a freeway. If you don't like traffic on the weekends, buy some lights and check out the trail at night! Anyone should be able to ride this trail. Recommended Route: Park at trail head, follow the diamond markers until you come to the third "y". Take the right and go across the off road trail and pick up the trail there (Story loop). Follow the trail until you get to the large rocks. Return the same way you came in. Also, try the water bars found on the diamond trail for some great jumping. Other recommended trails in the same area: Gnaw Bone for sure.

, from Indiana Summary: Awesome trail. Smooth and well-maintained singletrack. Nice layout of small hills and descents allow you to keep a fast pace throughout the trail. I haven't ridden many other trails (Indiana is rather limited) but I can't see it getting much better than this. Maybe some more more varied scenery would be cool. There's a cool little pine forest section that adds some diversity. But hey, what can you expect in Indiana? Recommended Route: Out and back. about 16 mi total, can be done in 2 hrs Other recommended trails in the same area: Hickory Ridge is alright, but way too trodden with horse hooves
