Summary:
As a beginner, I found this to be a fun, but challenging trail. Lots of tight, twisty singletrack, some nice hills, several log piles, and a couple of flat sections the my roadie side enjoyed.
PROS: Set up nicely-Most of the obstacles are in areas where even a beginner can carry enough speed to clear them; same for the hills. The park has nice facilities and the paved path leading to the trail makes for a nice warm up and cool down. Great place to learn mountain biking.
CONS: A few sections could use some maintenance, but it looked like it may have been from some recent storm damage.
OVERALL: I was only planning on 1 lap, but I was enjoying myself so much I ended up doing 3. Later on in the day, I went to a trail I was a little more familiar with and was amazed at how much confidence I gained after riding Bluhm.

Recommended Route:
Cross the creek to ride the entire trail, or go straight for a shorter, easier loop.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Rum Village, Imagination Glen, Potato Creek(opens 7-28-07)

Summary:
This trail is awesome. Not alot of big drops that some people look for... however, it has alot of smaller technical hills, jumps, roots and other good places that bruised my wife up pretty good! It's a fun trail and has alot to offer...You should go now!...no really go now!

Recommended Route:
Back trails by the creek are the most technical

Imagination Glen, Portage

Summary:
I think this trail is a blast. Its fast and twisty with nothing to big to slow you down, except for all the turns. There is a bit of roots and a few little log crossings.Always seems to be someone out here riding and it also seems that the trail goes in one direction which i think is cool because then you can just go and not worry about anyone coming at you.Locals are very nice and some seem quite fast on this trail.Im only about 50 minutes away to maybe an hour. But its well worth the drive i think so.Now keepin mind i am more of a cross country style rider,if you like big drops and stuff like that dont come.If you like tight twist single track through the trees come and have fun.Im giving this trail a 5 star because every time i come out i have fun

Recommended Route:
If you go down the paved trail and go into the left as so as you get to the woods and the bench, just follow the trail its pretty hard not to get lost.I recommed doing 2 loops and then a mini loop of the trails around the paved trails, meaning dont go into the trail at the intersection where the paved trail ends just go straight.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Imagination Glen Still my favorite place to ride.
