Weekend Warrior Summary: some very fun stuff out there. problem is, its just a spider-webbed, cluster-f*** of a trail system, no signage or layout of any kind. I went out and just rode around trying to ride everything and get an idea of whats there. rode for like 2 hours and still didn't ride it all. There were lots of trails that just dead end into nothing. you could tell there was some crazy m-f'ers out there at one point. lots of potential for some fun freeride stuff, i'm going to look into doing some work there, and building some stuff, but i've got to figure out who to talk to.
one thing it has plenty of is steep hills, i was in my smallest chainring almost the whole time. a few hills i couldn't even get up because my front tire wouldn't stay down. definitely some challenges. Recommended Route: just plan on going in circles and doubling back alot

Weekend Warrior Summary: great trails, my buddy and i went out there today and had alot of fun, it's right next to the rockford college campus so if your going there next semester you wont get bored. some technical stuff here and there whenever you see a tree down, have no fear there are usually built up logs and sticks before it so you can either jump it or ride right over. we even ran into a suspended log (between 3 and 4 feet up) to ride over a 25 foot long ditch so if your a more advanced rider out with some people that are new to the activity you can show off a little without getting bored. i am new to the sport myself so i need ideas on a new bike considering i am riding a walmart bike.
