Hitchcock Woods

Single track and slighly rolling double track. Beginner to intermediate. A few jumps. One stream crossing. This place has potential but needs someone to do more/better trail cutting work. Never any park rangers around and barely any people so it's a good place to ride without being bothered, although the loop is pretty short and not well marked.

Trail Directions
From 88W get off at 53 S exit. A light immediately follows the exit. Get in the right turn lane and make a right. This is Warrenville road. Go up the hill a quarter of a mile to the first light and make a left onto Yackley. Go through the first light (Corner of Ogden & Yackley) and over a small hill/overpass. At the bottom of the hill make a right turn at the first road you see. The parking lot is right there on the righthand side as you turn in. You can see the woods right next to the train tracks as you go over the overpass. Take the double track down the hill towards the train track to find the trail heads. Several trails lead back into the woods
