Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: Not a bad little trail. Good for a novice or intermediate rider, and it's right outside of town. It runs along a contour line on the side of the hill and has good flow. You can get up to a pretty good speed on the decents and then swoop araound the turns. It starts with a steep climb up onto the plateau and is rolling after that. There is no sustained climbing but you'll need to be in decent shape. If you can handle that first steep climb you should be OK. Recommended Route: Ride it out and back. It's fun both ways. About a 6.5 mile round trip. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sunnyside & Shadyside. Warm Springs and River Run for the climbers.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Nice flow. I took my girlfriend and her dad on this trail and they both enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it a beginners trail. I had so much fun I rode it three times in five days. Not technical, but if you put out the effort you'll be entertained for 30-40 minutes. The scenery is great, and even though the elevation change is null, you find yourself in sagebrush, aspen and good o'l idaho timber. Watch out for hikers. And super-duper rich people. Trust me, they'll let you know. Recommended Route: If you don't know how to get there, buy a map or just ask. It's only a few miles from town. I parked at the trailhead closer to town and rode up first. Can be done whichever way, but coming down is all ways more fun after you've put out the effort. Other recommended trails in the same area: Adams Gulch, Imperial gulch, lots of riding here, just don't tell anyone.
