Idaho Velodrome and Cycling Park
3 reviews
 4.67 of 5

The bike park is the result of 4000 hours of volunteer work and financial support from the city of Eagle, SWIMBA, and many others in the community. Judd deVall and Alpine Bike Parks designed and created phase one of the park which included 3 jump lines and a pump track (designed and installed by Randy Spangler) as well as a dual slalom and mountain cross course (designed and installed by Eric Carter). Local volunteers have also been expanding phase one by installing beginner and intermediate dirt jumps, a skills park, and a grass area with trees to hang out in. The expert line (Sage Fright) has also been extended with 6 more jumps - now 13 jumps total on the line.

Summary:
Awesome set up! Im just starting to get into mountain biking now that college baseball is done with, and hit this park up when I was home for break last. Great little setup, with some cool (but not too long) downhill runs, freeride area, and skills park. The skills park is a bit beyond my skill level yet, but was fun to watch others there.

The trails up and around the park are freakin sweet too, not too killer on the uphill and some nice flowy sections to pump it out on.

Recommended Route:
hit up the website to find directions easily
