Crestline/red cliffs trail
1 reviews
 4 of 5

Take 8th street all the way up until you get to a dirt road that gets pretty bumpy. The dirt parking lot will be on the right where there is a bathroom. Heading east from the parking lot is a little trail entrance that will take you to the crestline trail. I like to take it all the way up to the electric tower and ride back to the trail to the right that is the red cliffs trail. If you don't want to climb all the way to the tower you can take the red cliffs trail on your left after climbing pretty high. There will be a sign marking which trail to take. Taking the red cliffs trail will take you down hill most of the way with a little bit of climbing until you get back the parking lot where there are plenty of other trails to ride on.

Summary:
There is a good amount of climbing a little after the beginning but once you get to the top or towards the top there is not much on the way down. I like this trail loop a lot because it is challenging and fun.It also has some diverse scenery. I can ride to the tower and back to the trail head in about 30-45 min. but if you have time the other trails surrounding the area are fun too.

Recommended Route:
I posted this trail so just follow those instructions. I tried to post some pictures on the main page but they didn't go through. Just click on "search for more pictures" and I've put some pictures on a separate page of some of the trail to give you an idea of what it looks like or where to start.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I don't remember the names, but there are several in this area. It's almost impossible to get lost on these trails. If you do I'm sure anyone on the trail would be happy to help. It's not crowded but it's not dead either. Every one seems pretty friendly.
