West Fork

Trail head is located northwest of the parking area. It leads into a heavily forested canyon and follows along the creek. This trail has been designated "non-motorized" but be prepared to see hikers and people on horseback.
It is absolute beautiful stretch of singletrack.
A fence with up and over ramp marks the 4 mile point. Trails merge here and motorized
ORVs are permitted.

Summary:
Nice piece of non-motorized trail. The trail is often too wide to be called "singletrack" because of intense use. The climb is only slightly technical and rarely steep. Descending is fast and flowy but watch for other users. Scenery is beautiful and the trail terminates near Elk Meadows where other opportunities exist.

Recommended Route:
I like to ascend Corrals trail and then use West Fork as the downhill half of my loop. Ascending Gibson Jack is also an option but the ~8 mile road ride back to GJ trailhead is often annoying. You can also ascend West Fork and then descend Birthday Trail which dumps back into the bottom of West Fork from the south.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Valve House, Corrals, Gibson Jack, Midnight Canyon, Slate Mountain.
