Ridden Trail: Once a week

Cross Country Rider Summary: I really like this trail. If your not in good condition, then don't attempt. It is a pretty good climb either way you go, so don't think you can get out of paying homage to the mountain. No my friends, this mountain requires you to climb before the real fun begins. However, once you climb up to cusick creek, you can have a ball. I wouldn't recommend the upper fork. About 50 yards before you actually get to the fork, up to the right is an alternate trail. First timers, please take this route. It will save you a lot of grief trying to relocate yourself, and you will have more fun in the process. Recommended Route: I would recommend that you take you the left fork at the first bridge. It may look like a hellacious climb at first, but believe me, it is the easier way in the long run. The right fork isn't quite as steep right at first, but it doesn't mellow out very often either, whereas after you clear the initial climb to the left it mellows out a whole lot. I ride almost everday, and twice a week, I take the right fork. The rest of the time I stay left. Other recommended trails in the same area: West Fork, East Fork, South Fork, Gibson Jack, Chinks Peak Hill Climb, Inman Canyon, Trail Creek, Pocatello Creek.

, from Pocatello Summary: This is a pretty polished trail. It is a great ride that can be connected to many different trails (trail creek or up Cusick creek to Kimport Mountain). The ride across the bench is some of the best singletrack ever for speed and fun. Just watch when you enter the trees at city creek for other trail users. To avoid this ride early and haul ass. Recommended Route: Same as above Other recommended trails in the same area: West fork to Corral creek, Valve house to racetrack, Gibson Jack to Slate Mountain (The CHub Rock Tour)
