, from Local Summary: Maybe they should call this Horse Gate - the horses have really taken over this place in the last few years. They tear the crap out of the trails making them very rough at times. Aside from the horses, this park offers a good mix of terrain and some fun trails, but all are rather plain. A nice downhill sections at the south end of park. There are only a few small drops unless you think you want to do a 50 footer. Access is easy, but the trails are short (about a 6 mile loop). It is usually rideable year-round (I do anyway). Recommended Route: Start anywhere and work your way to the top Other recommended trails in the same area: Moscow Mountain, Asotin Creek

, from Moscow, ID Summary: Good for winter workout due to weather in Lewiston. A lot of horse traffic. If you drive past Hells Gate Park there is a free parking lot on the right. Recommended Route: Several looping trails are available here, all are fairly good. There are some sandy trails.
