Silver Mountain in Kellogg Idaho
1 reviews
 5 of 5

Ride the worlds longest gondola to access 4000 vertical feet of some of the best trails in the inland NW. Trails are well marked and are suited for DH bikes as well as several trails for the XC enthusiast. Currently the resort is in the process of expanding their trail network in order to become a major fat tire destination. Not too much here for the beginner rider as the vertical is just too much for the novice rider. Check out www.silvermt.com for details

Summary:
I went to silver mountain this summer and it is awsome, it's only 8 bucks for the gondala up and then its hours of fun on the way back down with trails ranging in length and difficulty. from 15 to 7 miles down.

Recommended Route:
well i went on alhambra which is the intermediate trail. it has some awsome downhill, a couple of jumps at the bottom and some sweet berms and switchbacks. I would also recommend the hammer if you are a more advanced rider, it has some optional 4-5 ft drops and some sweet jumps, but only take the hammer if you have full suspension and full pads.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
hiawatha trail, it isn't so technical but it has some awsome scenery and a mile and a half long tunnel so bring a flashlight.
