Weekend Warrior Summary: Well, now it's July '06 and Tamarack's marketing machine is still in full force, but fortunately the trails are starting to catch up. The lower elevation trails are twisty, hand and machine-built singletrack that really are very good examples of how to build trails- they melt off early, drain well, have good flow, and have some challenging alternate routes alongside the main trail. Great for the family, beginners, and XC types. The first downhill trail from midmountain is open and has lots of jumps, rock drops, and wall rides. Be sure to check out Stage Fright and Exit stage right Recommended Route: Something for everyone Other recommended trails in the same area: Lift served trails at Brundage ski resort or lots of backcountry epics around the area. Eagle's Nest trail is the best nearby.
