Ridden Trail: Once a year

Cross Country Rider Summary: Independence Creek is the only trail that I envy riders that bring the largest full-suspension bikes. They can plow through the foot deep current of water and large rocks. Make no mistake though, whether you ride or wade the 18 crossings it is a wet ride. An added bonus is an elk bugling when it hears your water logged brakes. Other recommended trails in the same area: Graham Mountain

Cross Country Rider Summary: Just drop dead beautiful scenery but you need to keep your eyes on the trail. In Sept the water was at least bottom bracket depth. You cross and recross the creek, don’t bother taking your shoes off. The climb is easier and the descent is more enjoyable done as described. You can combine Magee Peak trail to make a 34 mile ride. Recommended Route: As described Other recommended trails in the same area: Combine with Magee Peak Loop for big day.
Other trails with Kingston as the nearest city.
