don't waste your time on this trail. the only section that it rideable is the bottom, and it is only about 1 mile. the other side of it is almost impossible. the have built steps that you would have to be a trials rider to get up and the trail is all over grown with bushes and weeds. Recommended Route:

the other side of the lake has a nice 13 mile trail that goes along the edge of the lake to a campsite. there is another 10 mile trail that takes off from there. talk to a bike shop in coeur d' alene to find out more.
