Cross Country Rider Summary: Rode "Dans Potpouri loop" as described in the falcon guide book. The dir. were accurate, but there is no single track on this loop. Still a great ride especially bombing down valve house tr.
I then rode up the west fork tr. to Elk Meadows. The west fork tr. is all non tec. singletrack, climbing about 1000' in 4 mi. this whole area is full of trails, most of which are open to ATV's, but I was there on Labor Day and only saw 3 ATV's and they were on the road. I rode 26 miles and only hit a small fraction of aviable trails.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I would'nt recommend the Gibson Jack trail for beginners or those not in good condition, However it is pretty, fairly steep in places, challenging and we sometimes see moose. They kinda look at you like you owe them money. Recommended Route: Turn west off of Bannock hiway onto Gison Jack road, drive to the gate. From there get on your bike. Other recommended trails in the same area: I like East Fork on Scout Mountain,The Prison Loop and Saw Mill Creek

, from Pocatello Summary: This review is for the Gibson Jack to West Fork and down the road. This is great fun! Gibson Jack is a good 4 mile ride and then it is all down hill from there. The top of gibson jack is provides great scenes as does the top of West Fork. Great single track with a little bit of double track. The decent on West fork is da best. Recommended Route: Up Gibson Jack then take the double track over to the top of West Fork. Its 1 mile of double track then 3 miles of single track, steady incline. then mixed DH for 14 miles!!!! oh the last couple of miles is rode. And i suggest having a car parked at the bottom of gibson jack or its a hard (approx) 2 miles up hill at the end of the ride Other recommended trails in the same area: Valve house is a good little ride about ten miles for the loop. or up and back any of these many many trails.

, from Poky Summary: West Fork is great. I rode it for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 times since. I love the return. Plenty of little jumps to keep you Wahoo-ing the whole way down. A couple little rock gardens, and some great scenery up top. It flatens out and connects to other trails. Gibson Jack, is a great ride if you just want to cruise along. There are a few steep parts, but again, I've only ridden to the first bridge(my wife got tired). The rating is for West Fork, I'd give Gibson Jack about a 3.5.(until i ride more of it) Recommended Route: I prefer West fork, myself. Gibson Jack for a nice relaxing ride (1st mile or so to the bridge). Ive heard that West Fork to Corral Creek is pretty extreme. Other recommended trails in the same area: Corral Creek,
