Starts of as a wide area with mild roots and turns into an area with big roots, this then turns into nice single track with some steep stuff at the end.

Check your brakes, grease your bike, and get ready to rock the hill. first section is fast and rockey. then be prepaired for a small jump to the right. continue on and you'll find 3 jumps for all levels of riders. After those, comes the switches, drops, and just sick speed. if you are looking for riders visit http://groups.msn.com/SinePariBiking and leave a message.

Summary:
Dis was one of my favorites when I lived in Makiki. It was second to Tantalus till that got banned. There was a time that we used this area a pratice race area, as you could do a bunch of laps and have fun, without feeling alone, like in a real mtb race.

Recommended Route:
Ride from the road at the entrance, down the left and play around in the network of trails. If you find the ropeswing (if it's still there) play on that for awhile. Then ride to the top where the powerline tower is. Turn around and bomb downhill. When back by the parking benches near the parking lot, veer right and continue down. Go fast but watch for people coming uphill. Yes there are some of us who would ride uphill.

Oahu.

I wanna thank the guys who were there when I fell off my bike and dislocated my collar bone, thanx for letting me use your helmet,I think it really helped me a lot I forgot your names but you are the other 3 guys whose names start with "J" I remember one of the guys making a comment about that.
Well again thanx a lot and I'll be there in about a month or as soon as my clavicle heals. ride on, crash and burn peel & chew.
BTW I'm getting full body armor for next time....

Summary:
the dump trail is also a blast that no one has mentioned. when your going down the sidewalk and the trail is about to start, slow down and look for a left that branches off. its hard to see so take your time. this trail winds through a valley of tight tiht forest with fun off cambers and 2 killer gaps. youll figure out how to get to the bottom. thanks to russ for building all this. also there is a new trail that is just 2 doubles that branches from the top. when you pass the barking dogs on the right, slow down and look for 3 chopped telephone poles. take this trail but down roll it cuz you will screw up the jumps. if you are not gonna hit it carry your bike around the side. full body armor is recommended because if someone gets hurt thats no good, atleast wear gloves and a full face. hope you got disc brakes. sunday is the day everyone rides. if you wanna meet other downhillers bring a pickup and help shuttle everyone to the top. we're a friendly bunch
