Cross Country Rider Summary: Last reviewed this trail in Jan of '02, forest service has rocked many areas that were slippery when wet back then, its like riding on a paved trail in some areas, much safer, I came from the Moalepe Trail again and its still a fun ride even while raining. Neither of these trails are difficult but the views get a 5.

Cross Country Rider Summary: When it's dry this is a smokin' fast and super fun descent. Not a lot of technical, but the trail has grown in to the point that it's mostly singletrack, and some of the turns are bermed a bit. On a clear day the views of the mountains are spectacular. Other recommended trails in the same area: Powerline Trail,Rim of Waimea Canyon,Kealia Trails

Cross Country Rider Summary: Not what i expected. I was expecting a semi-technical singletrack. I got a rather wide, somewhat muddy, gradual climb through lush, green forests. This ride isn't really about testing your skills,or pushing limits. It is fun though, and if you stop to enjoy the scenery it's well worth it. Recommended Route: Combine with Moalepe Rd. for a fun, fast out n back Other recommended trails in the same area: The ridge trails in Kokee,Mohihi/Camp 10,the trail along Waimea Canyon Rd

, from Half Moon Bay, CA Summary: I combined this ride with the Moalepe Trail, entered the Moalepe Trail and at the end turned onto Kuilau Ridge Trail, this was mostly downhill, steep in sections, some staircase's great views of the valleys, stop and take a look and you will know why they call this the Garden Isle, lots of fun this trail, is very slippery when wet, do not recommend riding when wet. Other recommended trails in the same area: I recommend adding this trail to the Moalepe Trail
