Lots of fire roads and very tricky doubletrack. There are some really fast/nasty downhill sections. Even during this drought, there is plenty of mud. Watch out for motorcycles and ATVs.

Summary:
This trail rocks...specifically the Avalanche trail (6.2 miles). This trail can be very difficult for a newbie because of the constant ups and downs. To get the most out of this place you must be able to maintain momentum. there are lots of rollers to pump and jump and lots of tight turns. Very playful.

The rest of this system is fairly beginner friendly and a place you can take anyone (4ish miles).

Recommended Route:
When you enter the parking lot the Avalanche is to the right. The other stuff is on the left, up the gravel road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Blankets Creek!

Summary:
The description is out of date. This ride is a great alternative to Blankets Creek. Clockwise or counter-clockwise, it is a great ride with some technical climbs and some fun downhills. The 3rd ring is fun and could do that all day. If you are going back clockwise, save some energy for the second/first back part. It's only 5 minutes away from blankets so give it a go.

Recommended Route:
go counter clockwise - so pick your day t-t-s

Other recommended trails in the same area:
blankets or big creek

Summary:
I live real close to this trail and glad that city of woodstock did something with the land. I rode it in the clockwise direction. There are 3 loops connected together, green, blue, red. the map says 6.25 miles, but my gps on my phone and speedometer both said 6.97 miles for all three loops. It was like beeing on a rollercoaster, really fast and fun. Hey they also made MBA and Dirt Rag #157 pg.21-23.

Recommended Route:
counterclockwise

Summary:
Trail changes direction daily and is very well maintained. Sorba Woodstock does an awesome job here. I ride Blankets Creek as well but I must say that "Taylor Randahl memorial trail" aka "Rope Mill" is better! Probably about 6.5-7 miles of fantastic singletrack with everything you could want in a mtb trail. Short but tough climbs, fast descents, bridges. Sure to bring smiles! Highly recommended.

Recommended Route:
Bi-directional.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Blankets Creek.
