Ok, I decided to submit this trail for a couple reasons. First, it is a great place for beginners to learn the fundamentals of mountain biking. Second, it''s right in town so it''s a great after work/school ride.. Please keep in mind that this is a mutli-use trail! I''m not sure if bikes are technically allowed, but we saw no signs suggesting otherwise. ALWAYS YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS and be polite so hopefully bikes can remain on this trail!! This is a beginner trail, so if you live in Athens and are just starting to ride, check it out. Mostly mulch-covered except for some parts and decently wide. Only one tricky part where you cross the wide creek. Be careful here or else you''ll slide out and end up washing down the creek..
