Summary:
I was in town visiting my wife's parent who live in Newnan and needed a good idea to get out of the house so I decided to go check out these trails. I thought it was kind of funny the adress was 420 because when I got there I felt stoned.....Wierd house, wierd dogs, horses, and no sign of singletrack...after looking around for a while I found a trail head, geared up and took off to ride. Did I mention I needed to be back for a wedding in 2 hours? Anyway, I found what I think is the main trail only to find another "main" trail. I followed this trail for about 6 miles, it was fun lots of steep climbs, steepy down hills, lots of motorbike tracks...Anyway, it was fun though I felt lost the whole time. Have fun and bring a GPS!

Summary:
Welp, its offical... no good trails within an hour of West GA. Buddy grew up riding these trails but when we went back this past weekend it was nearly unridable due to ruts and loose packed trails. Obviously trails had been turned into dirtbike trails and mtn bikers apparently are out of luck.

there always good while they last.

if only i knew some in the area....

Summary:
In 2002 this trail was awesome! I rode the trail 3 or 4 times a week for 4 or 5 months. This place was Awesome!

I decided to go back and visit the trail today and I was amazed at how badly this trail has been damaged in the last 2 years. It is obvious that motorcycles have been allowed to destroy what was once an excellent mountain bike ride.

Deep ruts from motorcycles, too many exposed roots in ruts, trail expansion has ruined some of the single track near the end and has created a wide road of sand and mud! I imagine that this would be enjoyable for motorcycles.

Don't even waste your travel time or your $3 trail fee. I do not know what future plans the owner has for this trail...but mountain bikes do not seem to be part of it.

Recommended Route:
A U-Turn at the entrance!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Try Dauset Trails Nature Center of I-75 near Jackson. 17 miles of fun and well kept trails.

Summary:
First ride was April 10th. Riding - especially cornering - in the loose dirt/sand gave me a similar feeling to what its like to lose control of a car while hydroplaning. While I must say it really pissed me off at the time I was riding through it, it does add a challenging aspect to much of the ride. The terrain variation was nice, and there were plenty of parts along the trail that kept my attention. Overall a fun trail and a decent workout, and It was probably the most technical trail I have rode (mind you I havent rode over ten different trails)

Recommended Route:
From the parking lot, travel back down the driveway until you see the trail start on your right, by the fenced in area...easy to follow from here

Other recommended trails in the same area:
None I have ridden

Summary:
This trail is for experienced bikers only. I give it a low score because of the terrain encountered on the ride. It has a lot of loose dirt (sand) and has riverts in the trail that have been carved out by dirt bikes. This trail is mainly for motorized bikes and is tough to pass as a "true" mountain bike trail. The trail is very technical and erosion is a major problem because of the dirt bikes that ride there more often than regular bikes. $3 is the fee to ride and that won't even touch the cost that it'll take to repair this trail to accomadate mountain bikers.

Recommended Route:
Follow the trail.
