Cross Country Rider Summary: There is one trail here that allows bikes. It is a gravel path, pretty flat. My wive wanted to go to Red Top mountain to hike with our kids so I threw my bike in the van to check out the trail. It is nothing much, ok maybe for a really out of shape beginner or if you have small kids. Give the park credit for allowing bikes at all. It is a nice park overall. There are other hiking trails that are off limits to bikes.
To get to the trail, enter the park off of 75 and go past the beach area, look for a sign, I think it is Iron Hill or something similar. Recommended Route: Doesn't really matter, it's all pretty flat. Other recommended trails in the same area: Blanker's Creek

, from Woodstock, Ga Summary: You will find a no biking sign at the beggining of each trail. I went there this morning and it was a waste of time. The last guy who reviewed it should have mentioned that little detail. It is a beautiful park with deer all over the place. Recommended Route: none Other recommended trails in the same area: Blankets Creek

, from Cartersville Summary: Trail can be exciting, there are alot of different routes that you can take but some are now off limits due to the new homes being built in the area. In the past four wheelers have caused alot of problems with the emerson police,of coarse also closed down a few of the trails. About the trail there is several creek crossing, technical climbs, and technical down hills. Very senic and you can get lost for hours Recommended Route: Several Other recommended trails in the same area: Blankets,
