Weekend Warrior Summary: The last time I was at McIntosh Reserve was 3 or 4 years ago and the trails were really torn up by the horses and for that reason I stopped going. I was back there last week for the first time since then and I was pleasantly surprised at how the trails have recovered. The people at McIntosh Reserve have done some significant work and also some re-routing of the trails. While McIntosh doesn't compare to trails up north as far as technicality, it will still give the beginner to intermediate rider a decent workout (besides, there is not much to choose from if you don't want to drive far to ride off road in Newnan and Peachtree City). Yes, it still costs $2.00 to ride if you live outside of Carroll County.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Nice, lazy, scenic trails for beginners that follows the hooch a bit (good place to take newbies). If you are looking for something challenging GO NORTH, there is nothing difficult about this trail except dodging the road apples. Recommended Route: Chances are if you are serious enough to be on this website reading about trails, that this trail isn't serious enough for you.

, from Newnan Summary: Perfect for mountain biking, approx. 15 miles. Good places to start are at Council Bluff & behind the Park Station. It has plenty of hills & flat areas, some are sandy & some a tad rocky. Part of the trail you get a good view of the river & open land. Pefect for groups or single rides. Recommended Route: Trail starting at Council Bluff at the top of the hill, round trip 15 miles.
