Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is short but fun. If you live in PTC, it is a great after work workout. The trail is pretty much a short, but fast downhill then gets technical along the creek and a nice climb back up to the parking area. It is only about a mile long loop but a fun place to ride multiple laps. Recommended Route: Start at the pond and go right and down the hill then along the creek. DO NOT ride the "creek trail," it is pretty bad now that they are building a big resevoir. Follow the "bridge trail" back to the parking area, then do it all over again. Other recommended trails in the same area: unfortunately there is not much south of the city.

Racer Summary: This is a really fun trail that has a lot more to it than most people know. I have been riding in this area for 15 years and it is amazing how bikes have progressed to let the rider cover portions of this trail that used to only be hike-a-bike. On the Peachtree City side of the trail, there are a number of somewhat vague but neat trails. Across the river, on the coweta county side, signs are up saying no trespassing and stating that the land is owned by R.M. LTD. Obviously, people are still riding over there, since this is where the flowing and fastest single track is. If anybody knows if it is ok to bike over there or how to get in touch with the owner, let me know. I have been riding over there for years but it has been a while since I have been out there...Some of the double track on the other side goes for probably ten miles in rolling, intersecting routes. The coolest thing about this trail is exploring all the different places that it goes. You get swamp, single-track, double track, rock face, lots of roots, creek crossings, technical climbs, descents, and big rocks to climb up. Most of the course favors all-mountain and up bikes....Try it out if you are nearby. Let me know if you do.... Recommended Route: Just explore all around and see what is there....Just don't get lost..hehehe...Although there is decent cell phone reception on most of the course. Some GPS hikers used to have point locating contests out here....

, from Newnan Summary: If you live in live near the trail it is worth riding, if you don't live near by don't bother driving to it. The trail is fun with a lot of technical roots and rocks but the trail just isn't long enough. If you get tire of riding you can take just about any trail that goes up hill and it will take you back to the parking area. Recommended Route: Cross over dam of lake and go the left, just after this there is a trail to the right take it and just go. Other recommended trails in the same area: No other trails in the area compare to Oconee Haritage Park near Athens.

, from Peachtree City Summary: Just go out and explore. Don't forget to check out Mule Head rock. With the lack of rain lately you can cross the creek in several different places. There is some excellent singletrack on the other side. You will also see some Civil War ruins along the way. Recommended Route: For a little big hit fun go down the washout from the pond down to the big granite area. There are also a couple of good runs on the Coweta side. Other recommended trails in the same area: Newnan, Camp Thunder
