Georgia College Trail

About 8 miles of various short loops. Virtually the entire section is very tight and technical. Lots of short steep climbs. Leave your riser bars at home.

Summary:
These trails were originally created by a strong group of riders collectively centered around Milledgeville.

Recommended Route:
The trails have been clear cut, and no longer exist. I want to thank the many volunteers and visionaries who made these trails possible while they existed. These trails were awesome.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Head North to Dausett trails, you won't be disappointed

Summary:
THERE IS NOT A TRAIL ANYMORE! The college decided to cut the timber off of the land. They were the best trails in Milledgeville.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Oconee outfitters opened a new trail on the 240 acre Selma Irwin Nature Preserve. Go by and see Bud or Bill at Oconee Outfitters to get info.

Ridden Trail:
Ridden Once

Summary:
Looks like this one is abandoned. Downed trees and vines hanging in the trail everywhere. Rode about 3 miles, loaded up and went to Dauset trails. I know its free and all, but this trail is in need of some TLC. I wan't real sure we should have been there, saw some "Posted-No Trespassing" signs and the "Check-In" station was trashed

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Dauset Trails, Camp Thunder

Ridden Trail:
Once a month

Reviewed by: Bender , from Montana to Macon

Summary:
This trail has thoroughly impressed me. Just moved down here from MTB heaven, Montana when it's not snowing, and didn't really expect much for riding in middle Georgia, but this trail has a little bit of everything. Some good technical stuff, fast downhills and some decent climbs. This trail leaves the options open to you once you learn the trails. If you want a hard ride you can do it, if you want a good steady spin no problem either.

Recommended Route:
No bad choices. If you're up to it go to the right at the trailhead and take the first spur to the left, a very good test of your skills
