Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a great ride and much closer to the metro area than Bull. All trails are in good shape. I ride a couple of times a week here. You can avoid the horses if you go on a week day or early in the morning or late afternoon on weekends. You rarely see horses on the orange trail. Ride the orange or red trails after a rain. The blue trail can get very sticky, especially along the river. The orange trail is actually closer to ten miles and has a great downhill with big waterbar airs, short steep uphill sections, and some excellent single track. Red is mostly single track with some steep climbs and awesome braided trail descents. Blue is a good cruising trail, alternating between forest service roads and single/double track. Recommended Route: All trails are best counter-clockwise. Go orange to blue to red to get about a 20 mile loop. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bull-Jake system, Chicopee Woods, Central Park (Cumming)

Weekend Warrior Summary: A friend told me that the fire roads had been posted off limits to bicycle riders. Can someone comment on this. Is this true? Recommended Route: Great riding. Fun to ford the river. A little cold though now that it's February.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Rode the orange trail which is mostly fire & dirt/gravel road. In the back there are some fun single trails with creek crossings. Trail map indicated that the orange trail was 6.9 mi. however, trail is actually between 9-11 mi. watch for hunters and horses. The trail is pretty well marked with paint on the trees. The orange and red markers look VERY SIMULAR so the trailhead was not easy to figure out. Other recommended trails in the same area: Have heard the red trail is difficult and fun.
