Cross Country Rider Summary: I have to agree that this trail is not worth your time. I just went today for the first time to get back into riding shape for the upcoming warm months. The trail started out looking like it would offer some great challenges but about 5 minutes into the ride I began to realize that these trails were confined to a hill behind the schools baseball field. What once was probably some interesting trails has been ripped apart thanks to commercial development in the area. All I got from the ride was a quick single track down hill to an open field with lots of fresh soft turned dirt. My suggestion is to head to Gainsville for some real Mountain Bike Riding. Other recommended trails in the same area: Chickopee

Cross Country Rider Summary: Well...Living close by and seeing the 4 out of 5 rating I decided to give this trail a try. After a relatively easy, flatland start the trail headed into some woods and then...stopped! I was facing a large open area that had recently been bulldozed clear. I am not talking about a small area either. The clearing was about 40 or 50 acres. The continuation of the trail was no where in sight even after I plowed around in the loose dirt for about 25 minutes trying to find it. Worse yet, there were no signs or notices anywhere of this work being done. I had no choice but to make the short trip back to my car and conclude my ride. The clearing must be rather recent since the heavy equipment to do the job was still there and the ground was extremely soft.
I am sure this trail at one time may have been up to a 4 rating, but from my experience it gets a 0. Maybe someone has some updated information on the re-routing or development of this trail, but until then I recommend to stay away.
