Downhiller Summary: The Bartram Forest Trails are great for casual or intense riding. There are alot of straight forward endurance trails, but theres also a few especially for mountain biking. There's one trail thats pretty much a downhill with a big dip and a bunch of roots, probably the most challenging one of the whole park. There's also a picnic area and a nice lake in the center of the park. The outer trails loop around in big circles for a more cross country feel, with decent scenery. Lastly, theres a big clean downhill that is by the power lines which is a good rush to fly down. Recommended Route: I would start off with the mountain bike trails, which are off to the left once you enter and barely past the lake. Then go straight on the main trail past the lake, through long strench of small pines and do the endurance routes. I haven't even gone to every trail yet, so there's always something new. Check it out! Other recommended trails in the same area: I've heard of another trail thats supposedly really intense called Salma Irwin. I think its like 20-30 mins from Bartram, but I'm not sure I've never been.
