Cross Country Rider Summary: supposedly right at 3.7 miles
mixes some forest riding, some path through grassy areas, some powerline switchbacks
overall, a beginner trail that is good for cardio workouts
note, park and trail are open until 11 p.m. (as of 11/2005) and this is a great nightride spot. You don't need an HID for this trail, any 10w system should do.
please note that the trail alternates directions, and that it is a figure 8 if you add in the back hill. there are blind corners, so if you're going the wrong way, you could screw up one of us who bomb it hard going the right direction (yep, speaking from experience).
trail is maintained by RAMBO chapter of Sorba. Recommended Route: either way -- depends on day for alternating directions Other recommended trails in the same area: Bull Mtn., Chicopee, Big Creek.
