Lots of forks in the trail, you ride on rock outcroppings, mostly singletrack, and technical in a few parts.

Trail Directions
Actually, I'm 15 and can't drive so I'm not good at giving directions, but it is very close to Yellow River, just ask someone near the general vicinity of YR for directions to Rock Chapel park or elementary school and you should be able to find it. There's a gravel parking lot and the trail starts off on and offshoot of the dirt road towards the back of the lot.

Summary:
These trails are still there, probably 20 plus miles out there. Not cleared, defined or marked but good for exploring. With some work these could be the best trails in Atlanta

Summary:
The trails are no longer there, but the woods are. The BIG news is, DeKalb County has purchased the land. Presumably, the people responsible for harassing bikers in the past are now out of this picture.
SORBA Atlanta (www.sorbaatlanta.org) is talking to the County about rebuilding the trails. That probably won't happen until Vernon Jones and his administration is replaced after the 2008 elections.

Summary:
Be careful out there. When I was in high school there was a barn there with a lot of dead cats laying around. Pretty sick. Otherwise this area was used for high school kids to get high and get their brand new ,four wheel drive SUV's stuck that there parents shelled out a ton of money to buy them. Not smart to do since not many tow trucks will come out there to yank you out.

Summary:
I rode this trail a few times and it was pretty awesome. I read the review detailing vandalism of a car and began to park on a side street half a mile down and ride up. This trail is a lot of fun to explore with some very technical parts. Someone mentioned the open granite-- my favorite part. A word on this trail, however, I never ran into anyone, but I exercised caution, because the locals sound pretty hostile. If you can get down there, keep a low profile and check it out

Recommended Route:
