Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail is a good trail to take the wife/girlfriend or kids to ride. Very easy and flat. I took my GPS out with me and it was only about 3 miles (large loop), I can see another mile added in when you ride the road to the other small trails or get lost. The technical section wasn't really all that technical. Run the large loop a couple of times for a fast and I mean fast course. I would recommend putting in a little more PSI in your tires than you would for a normal rooted trail. Even though there are roots and some sand, the roots are spread far apart and easily ridden and the sand is not really sandy. Mostly hard packed. Again, a trail for beginning riders. Not even close to a 3 rating.

, from Athens Summary: Flat and Fast! You can ride 10-12 miles without even noticing. The only real challenging section is the "sinkhole" which is a tough, rooted uphill followed by a steep downhill--very fun though. Recommended Route: There are several areas to enter the trail so it doesn't really matter which one you choose. I prefer the entrance on the right near the Do Not Enter sign(just across from a small parking lot)Also be sure to find the trails that start by the pond. These offer some very tight single track.

, from Statesboro Summary: This is a great trail to take up and coming off road bikers. My 8 yr old loves going to magnolia. While it is mostly flat, there are some technical spots. The sinkhole is a very steep rooty hill that is on the edge of a 20' + sinkhole. Very non-forgiving if you slip. On the back section near the train tracks is a very flat open section with good small bumps that gets your heart beat up. The scenery is nice with over 12 miles of trails and different types of woodlands. The trail can be run fast and there are two hills along with a couple of wooden bridges to bunny hop on. Hard to keep track of where you are since there are so many side trails. Plenty of wild boar that rut up the path and like to stare you down. Recommended Route: Just North of Millen follow the signs to the state park. Off HWY 25 Other recommended trails in the same area: Statesboro has a few trails. The herty nature trail on campus near sweetheart circle has hills and a variety of terrain. Short though and needs some work. Some new paths are being created just north of HWY 80 on the bypass in a 4-H tree farm. Some people call these the Mill Creek trails but that is decieving since they are a mile away from Mill Creek.
