Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Reviewed by: Joe
, from GA Summary: Very, very easy, but a fun way to relax before the bugger of a climb on the last leg of the Gold Mine trail... and if there are people cooking out, the hotdog smells will make you want to get off your bike and do a "picnic holdup!" Watch out for walkers around the trail and be friendly to them. Recommended Route: around the lake, of course! Other recommended trails in the same area: Gold Mine was a blast, but the last 3/4 of a mile or so back to the parking area is a doozie of a climb!

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from ChattanooGA Summary: Nice little warm up trail for the climbs on Gold Mine and elsewhere. Forget about it on weekends, especially in the summer, when crowds abound. Recommended Route: around in the winter on a weekday. Other recommended trails in the same area: Gold Mine, Cool Springs, East-West are all fair "class B" singletrack. Go to Carter's Lake, Iron Mountain, or Ellijay area if you want singletrack.

, from Atlanta Summary: I guess it's a pretty good trail for VERY beginners and young children, it's mostly flat, no rocks or roots or anything. You basically ride around a small lake, takes about 10 minutes max to ride
