Summary:
I ride this trail a lot. Parking is free, no one cares anymore. (I even pulled up after a ride and about 5 police cars were there, no one said anything to me.) The right side, across from the golf course, is ridden most often. It has a lost of extremely though hills, but fun downhills. The right side with the granite not as challenging, but just as fun. There is also an old trail that isn't kept up at all since hardly anyone rides it anymore; to ride it, after you finish the granite downhill and come across a horse trail, take a right and go straight back up the granite, if you see a fence, and then a big pile of trash, you're on the right track. Only try this if you have rode here a couple of times because it is kind of hard to find. Watch out for the sticker bushes and tree limbs though. This is a great trail and I recommend anyone to at least try it once. I see deer just about everytime I go there, so that's cool. This is for experienced bikers with good bikes (front shoks are neccesary going down the granite). If you are just beginning, try the horse trails.

Recommended Route:
If you want tough long hills try the left side. The right side (golf course side) has the granite, wich is fun for a change.

Yellow River.

Summary:
This is the worst course in Ga. Up the hill, down the hill, wind around and see everyone else on other parts of the course. Why this was chosen for the Olympics, I don't know when there are so many great rides just to the north. The race is also one of the worst organized ever.

Summary:
it says i only rode it once, but it was for the 24 hours of adrenalin in oct of 99. our team won and i did 6 laps. the course has everything a mtbiker could want: smooth twisty single track, roots, rocks, stream crossings, and that sweet moab of the east rock section. i for one hope this trail remains open because i have friends here that want to make a road trip.

Recommended Route:
rode course sorta counter clock wise

Summary:
You can get about a 9 mile ride by taking the loop on the south side of the access road plus the loop on the north side. It has a fun combination of short uphills, downhills, twsity wooded sections, a bit of open field areas, and bare rock face sections. I found it to be really fun, but wish it was twice as long!

Recommended Route:
Interstate 20 to "GA International Horse Park" exit, take 138 north, see GA IHP entrance on right.
