Cross Country Rider Summary: I am sorry to read that these trails no longer exist. It was my favorite place to ride when I lived on the east coast. I have very fond memories of raod trips from SC to ride there. I am sure SORBA has built great new trails, but I will miss Chicopee. I guess I can always imagine riding there--no one can build a school on my memories!

Weekend Warrior Summary: This place is awesome. There is something for everyone. Its very clean and well marked, though there are spider webs all over the place. The only thing that sucks is when you get near the end of the outer loop by the waterfalls, its nearly impossible to make it over the river and up the incredibly long uphill without stopping.
Make sure you call (770) 718-9748 before riding out to see if anything is closed. Recommended Route: Enter the main course accross the donation box. I suggest you go around the outer loop and if you are bored take the zig zag trail. Also you can take the Lake loop as its really relaxing. Other recommended trails in the same area: Yellow River ... Tribble Mill

Cross Country Rider Summary: One of the best trails within easy distance (<1hr) from Atlanta. Only one significant lung buster of a climb and amazing downhill that allows as much speed as you can handle. This trail is what riding is all about.
Can't believe they're going to close this down at start of August - this is a loss for us Georgia riders.
One word for those arseholes who leave their Power Gel wrappers lying about the trail. DONT!!! If you're going to act like you're in the city then stay there and don't mess us these trails. I was there this weekend and there was a few wrappers freshly dropped on the trails. Don't be a tosser, take it home with you. Recommended Route: Only one loop, so clip in and start pedalling. Other recommended trails in the same area: Chicopee Woods.
