PROJECT! PROJECT! Let it be word our governor John Ellis Bush office in Tallahasse has made return through the Greenways/Blueways project that there is interest in this effort; there is near $390M dollars slated for the Lee & Collier areas for both pedestrian and off-road trails. I find this important because this adds a certain amount of legitamacy to the environment and can possibly draw sanctioning bodies here for events and, moreover, good turnaround for the communities. Anyone interested in developing terrain with locals here in SW FL can contact myself through this website here, a great individual named Carlos by ECOCARLI@YAHOO.com, or log on to MUCUTTERS.org and watch for updates. I have been making word with the local newspapers editor, and with our great Governor. I have an individual from the Greenways/Blueways office looking for constructive input and very much so volunteers. This is headed within the Environmental Protection Agency.

Summary:
Firstly, MUDCUTTERS.org replaces what is listed on the intro. Most important is that there is no sessionable terrain just yet, per say. I am more than over prepared to create fast bermed corners, rhythm sections galore (!), and so on. This area, Picayune, is just now being marked. Upwards of twenty miles has been relayed from Carlos, whom is the same from intro. He is a Biologist with the Forestry Department, and a budding enthusiest. Do not underestimate this area. So far the 25% marked has potential for real fun. I'm pushing for, and willing to create, the illusion of natural hardcore area(s) that might be found elsewhere. Maybe even out of place here in Florida. I come from really rocky and rapidly changing terrains of New England. This should be attainable with help from anyone wanting a truly fun and memorable riding experience. Peace.

I am definitely interested in riding this area. My understanding is that you can reach the park from everglades blvd south as well.
I live in Lehigh Acres but work for Fedex in Naples and deliver off the everglades blvd side once in awhile. I'm new to mountain biking but was a advid BMXer years ago. I'm trying to ride everything and anything in SWFL.
I'm interested in volunteering and helping out when I have time. I work alot, sometimes on Sats as well.
I'll be contacting Carlos.
