Mostly flat, hard packed doubletrack mixed use trails. There are some sandy horse trails in the park but you are not forced to use them to put together a good ride. Everything is well marked and maps are usually available at the trailhead kiosk. The one posted is better so take photo with phone if possible.
You can put together a decent 18 mile ride out here and never see sugar sand. It's not the pure singletrack Mt bikers love but it still beats a paved bike trail ride. There is some wildlife to be seen also. birds, deer and maybe a black bear that is most likely more scared of you. These are good trails to introduce someone to off-road cycling or even take kids to.
