Preservation Park

Average Rating:    (3.5 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 2

This park offers riders 2 types of trails: 1) a 2/3 mile loop trail for cardio work and a 1 mile technical skills trail.

The loop trail is fairly wide and you can build some speed. The inner loop is narrow and technical. There are skills challenges also within the inner loop trail that are optional but add complexity for the very skilled rider.

Bottom line is that this trail is for beginners looking for seat time or a weekday training spot when a more advance rider doesn't have time to travel.

Great spot remains a gem inside the West Palm Beach perimeter.

Summary:
I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews.
Short, and sweet. Hard riding surface, very easy, but a ton of obstacles on the fox trail.
There is a total of almost 2miles of riding, so it may get repetitive if your looking to burn a lot of calories.
This course features multiple rock pits, red clay jumps, and banks. Lots of log overs, and balance beams as well as some platform drops. A very fast trail, as I just ran it in a personal best of 6:42 But testing your skills on some of the more technical stuff is fun.

Recommended Route:
Just get there, and find the fox trail, its one way
I would not make a special journey to this trail, but if your in the area, its a must ride.
Look it up on strava.

Summary:
A close spot to get some cardio in during the week when I do not have time to travel to the bigger trails. Very rarely see riders so you have the place to yourself. Even hardcore riders can try some of the skill challenges!

Recommended Route:
It is small, flat and easy. But it is fun! I would recommend for a weekday training session. I would not recommend that you travel to this spot. It is too short.
