Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: When I used to live in Deerfield (Pre-Wilma)I would ride Quiet Waters 3-4 times a week. Now I live in Miami and have been wanting to try out the new trail. The crew doing the trail maintenance is doing a great job of making something from nothing. That being said, there is a long road ahead and if I can make it up for a maintenance day I will. What really hurts is the complete lack of vegetation (bring sunscreen). The trail resembles Bootleg Canyon more than it does the old Quiet Waters. The trail is very dry and has a lot of rocks. That being said, the trail is not technical for anyone other than beginners. It is a great trail for new riders. The first section has some tight switchbacks to keep you in check and the back section has a nice section to get some speed and ride the embankment. There is one twenty foot "Difficult section" but for anyone with experience at Oleta or Markham it is just a small bump. I recommend the trail for anyone in North Broward and South Palm Beach. Anyone south of that should stick with Oleta and Markham for now. Looking forward to the future when some extra distance and terrain is added to the trail.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Being ten minutes away from my house, I can not complain. Definitely a good trail, especially with the new phase, it's a nice fresh breath of air with some surprisingly technical bits.
Thank you to the people who made it possible. Without it, the nearest trail would be Markham. Recommended Route: 2nd half of phase 2.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Once a week was the only option, but I ride this trail 3-4 times per week now that it's open. It's an intermediate trail with some technical aspects of it and is great for a beginner to learn to ride. No steep grades or extreme elevations to frustrate a beginner, but plenty of twisty, flowing, up and down trail to keep you coming back. And the best part is that it's only going to get better and better.
Brand spanking new trail with more work being done every month to add features and extend the trail. Something for almost everyone except the most radical adrenalin junkie.
5 stars for rideability and fun.

Weekend Warrior Summary: The trail is a work in progress!
The volunteers have done a great job with the terrain they have to work with. Single track trails that skirt along the edges of lakes and winding connector trails. There are alot of small rocks and sand - welcome to FL! The trail is fast flowing with some cool ledges and technical challenges. The lack of any significant elevation is the only limit this trail has. Its a fun XC ride. Recommended Route: Easy to find. Located on Powerline Road in between Hillsboro Rd. and SW 10th Street. Enter the park and turn right. Park next to the Skate Park/Ski Rixen. Bathrooms, concessions and a bike wash are available.
You must have a tag to ride!! Tags are available at the main Park Office after you watch their short video (liability CYA). Other recommended trails in the same area: Markham, Oleta, Jonathan Dickenson
