Weekend Warrior Summary: The trail is basically flat with a couple minor ups and downs that add a little excitement. It has good flow to keep your speed. Smooth ride overall. There is alot of potential for this place. A pefect spot to ride and maintain if you live in the immedeate area.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Despite the lack of mileage, this trail gained some local popularity last year with the unauthorized bridge obstacles. And like all good things, it came to an end.
It seems to have regained it's local popularity as a great night ride. There are a couple of groups that have scheduled night rides out there (usually near the monthly full moon). The wide trails and lack of technical difficulty makes it a fun ride for advance riders, but easy enough for beginners, depending on your speed (and your lights). The groups always wait for the slowest rider. Recommended Route: They park at the Winn-Dixie and take a trail down to the park. It was dark and there were a few trails I didn't recognize, so I played "Follow the Light in Front of Me," all night.
If your a beginner or want to familiarize yourself, some people ride it in the daylight before doing a night ride, but it's really not necessary.
Go to a local bike shop or e-mail someone with a Mtb. Club and they will invite ya out.
The best route on any night ride is 1st. right behind the person who knows the trails the best. 2nd. right behind the person with the best lights. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hanna Park, Graham Swamp, Santos, San Felasco ...and soon Bayard.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is no more it has been bulldozed. Trails are still there but no trespassing signs have been posted. All jumps bridges teeters stunts etc.. have been removed this sucks Ive been riding these trails for over five years. Those trails were getting decent. There was a lot of building going on back in those woods towards the end of its life, oh well. Does anybody know of any drops jumps etc anything other than XC if so please contact me at kelliegoranflo@yahoo.com I have no place to ride now

Weekend Warrior Summary: Just wanted to let everyone know that thanks to some lady who went back in the park, hurt herself and then decided to sue the city, the trails have all been bulldozed. Well not all of them but everything that was built back there, the teeter totter, the jumps and the bridges are all gone. The trails were actually closed but last time i went i asked one of the prison workers what was going on and he told me they would reopen after they made sure everything was gone.
Island loop and the brickroad trail are still open. Island Loop isnt too bad, its an ok exercise, but with everything in the front of westside getting torn down its not really worth going. Recommended Route: right across from NAS JAX Other recommended trails in the same area: hannah, riverwalk (urban)

Weekend Warrior Summary: The trails have gotten alot better, some kids have built a pretty big teeter-totter up by the jumps, its about 4 ft high. They also built a wooden bridge that gots off a big hill and curves back onto it, They said they plan on building more stuff so you might wanna check it out soon.
