Weekend Warrior Summary: Very good, paved trail for the casual biker. Some sections wooded, some open in the sun. Paved trail in excellent condition. Rode trail from the Apopka-Vineland Outpost at mile marker 14 north to Apopka mile marker 17 and retun, then west to Ingram Outpost mile marker 12 and return to the Apopka-Vineland Outpost mile marker 17, 14 miles total. Recommended Route: Start at the Apopka-Vineland Outpost parking area mile marker 14, but DO NOT ride north further than 1 mile. Trail goes into Apopka and I was acosted by a small gang of black youths who threw filled coke cans at me. Got on cell phone to Apopka police who said not to ride thru that area. Ride west and you will be safe. Ride to the Clarcona Horsemans Park for a nice look at horses. Other recommended trails in the same area: Wekiva Trail, Cross Seminole Trail, Cady Trail, all paved trails in a SAFE area, no problems with anything on these trails.

, from Orlando, Florida Summary: West part of the trail is okay. You head past golf course, shops, etc... once you get into Winter Garden. Recommended Route: Usually go out daily because it's close to my house. Ocoee and head west to Winter Garden is the better route or vice versus. Stay away from the Apopka route as you go through sketchy area.

, from OrLaNdO, fL Summary: I actually am on this trail every day, but that was not an option. This is a great trail for me because I have a small child, so there is not a lot of commotion, and it is VERY relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Any parent knows how important that is! Recommended Route: I like the Chapin Station Park, or the Apopka Vineland, next to the Oriental Temple place. Other recommended trails in the same area: I am not sure of any other

, from Apopka, Florida Summary: If you are a beginner this is a great trail to ride. It has different scenery throughout; from old winter garden shops to thick bush and lake views. Stay away from the apopka run, the trail goes through some really bad neighborhoods. I prefer to ride the trail from winter garden to Oakland and Back about a ten mile run. Enjoy your ride..... Recommended Route: Winter Garden head West

, from Orlando Summary: Just a friendly advice to those of you serious mountain bikers, Lets just say that this trail is not for you. Really it isn't even a trail is more like an extended family park. First of all you ride in a paved road (closed to traffic of course), which gets boring 5 minutes after you get there. Secondly just by looking at the sorrounding forested areas makes you want to leave the pavement and make your own trail, its kinda frustrating to be honest. So if you want a thrill or just a good workout go somewhere else. IF you come with your family and have small children, this place is perfect for you. Recommended Route: IT's all the same Other recommended trails in the same area: Anywhere but here.
