Summary:
Great trails! It's small enough area to not get lost too bad. Very fun for a beginner (me) and has some other areas that are pretty hard. I haven't been on all the trails yet. Here is GOOD map of the Timberlake area. The link is at the end of the review. I'm not scared of regular sized spiders but those ones on the trail are friggin huge! I would have to clear a trail of all the spiders first then ride it again at full speed. haha

Summary:
For those wondering the current state of the trails, they are in fantastic condition post hurricanes. A lot of work has been done and they are in great shape. As to the poster below who said why the bridges were removed over the creek...I was part of the crew that installed the bridges. There were three of us that were working hand in hand with the Jackson Guard when they were installed. The Guard was giving us dumptruck loads of mulch to fortify the trails, and we even rode the trails with the person who had the position to OK the trails and bridges. In fact the base commander of Eglin AFB rode the trails with us and commented on the fantastic construction of the bridges. What caused the bridges to be removed was a new group of beurocrats at the Jackson Guard who want the area for killing animals and harvesting wood for paper mulch. I guess that pays more than the $5 range passes.

Recommended Route:
All the trails mentioned below are again open and in fantastic condition. Keep in mind you won't be able to use the bridges as the mindless beurocrats at the Jackson Guard have removed them and thus you will not be able to cross from one side of the trail system to the other.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Pinelog in Panama City, Conecuh in lower Alabama.

Summary:
The trails took a beating from Ivan so the are all unridable as of now. Anyone who would like to help clear them please contact me. I have a small group that spent the entire weekend trying to make a dent in the mess and we have just about got stinky creek up and running again. Another day and it should be good to go.
I know that most have problems with their house and that is more important but when you can come out please do. We will keep going until it's done and then start on UWF in P'cola. It's going to take time and help from anyone who can find some time.
For everyone that rides/runs/hikes these trails lets try to at least bring them back to what they were before.

Recommended Route:
As of right now about the only thing you can do is ride around the parking lot.
