Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: A little over 3 miles (loop). This trail is a lot of fun and most sections are fast with a lot of turns. There are a few bridges to go over. I've ridden the trails at Tom Brown park a few times and this one. I think this one is a lot more fun. It is kind of short, but you'll still get a good work out. There are a ton of roots to go over, but that makes the ride more fun. Recommended Route: I always enter by the tennis courts. I think its best to enter to the left. Other recommended trails in the same area: Tom Brown Park trails

Cross Country Rider Summary: Not sandy, pretty fast overall, and short. I ended up doing about 4.8 miles though. It's also a loop which is nice. Pretty narrow singletrack in most areas, also some surprising climbs, dips and long straightways for speed. Lots of roots, makes for a bumpy ride. Recommended Route: Beside the baseball feilds. Other recommended trails in the same area: Tom Brown
Munson Hills

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is a 3.5 single track that has plenty of roots and small climbs. Beginners will be getting off their bikes few times. Intermediates will have a nice challenge and experts will fly through this trail but will have a good workout on their technical skills. There is very little sand. There is one creek crossing that you can ride across. There are optional stones to walk across. Recommended Route: I parked by the tennis courts and rode the trail both ways. Other recommended trails in the same area: Across Meridian Rd. (paved road in front of the park) there are loops marked west, east, north, etc... You can pick up some more miles. These trails are flat single track. Jeep trails surround these single tracks. People run on these trails (mainly the jeep trails) on this side of the road. The single track loops are in great shape. The jeep trails are sandy but there is a great downhill as you approach Lake Overstreet. Just watch out for runners if you like to fly down hill. If you choose to ride around the lake, there are some good down hills too (and climbs).
Tom Brown Park offers a half day of trail riding. There is something for all levels there and the trails were lots of fun too. Great condition too. However, Redbug is my favorite Tallahassee trail so far.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Short but sweet. Fun trail but do wear the bugspray because the chiggers will get you otherwise. It is a bit rooty in places but is fun twisty singletrack with lots of short ups and downs.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This was the second trail that my bike and I used to get reaquainted after a year long absence. The trail is actually just over 3 miles. Very well marked, in fact, so far the best marked trail i've ridden so far. This trail wasn't too hard aerobically, it was fun to ride and I even enjoyed the mud bath I took at one spot. I didn't find it techinical at all. Nice trail to warm up with. Next time if there is one, I will try and find the secret ridding place after a quick spin on this trail. Trail didn't seem as tight. The one big plus is that I didn't run into anyone else on the trail while I was riding it.
