Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail. After the beginner trail they added a great technical section including a huge bank, poles to steer through, ramps, and lots of jumps. In the middle of the park they have added a teeter-totter. The technicality level is great for a person of my age.(14) The aerobic lvl is pretty good too. Im huffing and puffing in the beginner trail(only if u dont take it slow) then it leads you in to a steady pattern.
The only thing i hate is the amount of rocks there is. i hate how your at a good speed gearing up to climb a 15 ft hill and u hit a patch of rocks and loose your momentum. It might just be me (M=mass x velocty) im going fast but i have little mass (i only weigh 115lb's)
Anyway its ultra fun and full of tons of climbs and drops and i would recommend this trail to anyone i know . Recommended Route: start at the beginner trail in the parking lot then ride through everything all the way to the back of the park and back.
take the beginner, intermediate, and various expert sections Other recommended trails in the same area: -markham park
-various levies through out south fl

Cross Country Rider Summary: I was weary of going to ride this trail because i had read some not so great reviews on some websites etc. But i must say the trails were actually great and flowed really well. It was extremely hot tho i must say and with the baby trees still growing id definately go again but when it's cooler. Im not an expert yet but pretty well and i must say that the intermediate was "AMAZING" for me and a hell of a challenge in alot of parts. I'd go as far as saying that some of the intermediate sections were actually borderline expert. Or maybe i steered off intermediate by accident. lol But i highly recommend this park to any of you that have read bad reviews. I wont be suprised if this is one of the top parks in the near future when some of the trees grow back. Other recommended trails in the same area: Oleta, Markham, Amelia Earheart

Weekend Warrior Summary: Quiet Waters is open once again. There are approx. 3.5 miles of Intermediate trail and 1.5 miles of Beginniner trails open. The crew has done a great job with what is available at this time. The hurricane damage is very evident, (i.e. lack of trees) but all-in-all a good flowing trail with some good technical aspects to it. There is one section that runs along a ridge above a lake that I can see many bikes falling into. They'll name this section of trail "Bike Wash" for sure. Other recommended trails in the same area: Markham Park

Cross Country Rider Summary: As prevoiously reported, the entire Park was stripped bare of ALL Non-native plant and tree life. The park for the most part is barren sand except where new trees were planted. The terrain is still there for the most part. The GOOD NEWS is that Broward County Parks has signed a contract for IMBA to design new trails of various levels of difficulty to be started later this fall or winter when everything is white and cold up North. IMBA did a phenominal job up at SANTOS in the North end of FLORIDA. Let's hope and PRAY that this work is started soon. The County is also working on obtaining 2 parcels of land from FlaDOT which would be used to extend the areas designated for mountainbiking and which also have tree cover and plantlife. This Trail System is deeply missed by area riders and the starting and rebuilding cannot start soon enough! Recommended Route: It's only a drive by right now! but don't forget to stop by and see the crew at Jim's Bicycles across the street for the latest news. Other recommended trails in the same area: Oleta in North Miami, Markham in Sunrise, Amelia Earhart in Opa Locka/ Hialeah, Jonathan Dickinson up in Jupiter.

Racer Summary: Sadly, this trail as we knew it is gone! Wilma toppled hundreds of trees and the park service decided it was the perfect opportunity to clear rest of them with bobcats and a giant tree mulcher. I believe the vegetation that helped outline the trail was "non-native" so the park is undergoing a major topography change. I hope they do not decide that picnic tables and crab-grass filled with red ants is "native"; they need to replace what was considered by many as beautiful with something that is really outstanding.
What they decide to do with the land is still up in the air.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Markham Park, Sunrise
Oleta River State Park, North Miami
