Summary:
Trail is winding single track through pine uplands. Lots of sand in the dry months. This trail sees very little use and may be hard to follow if you are not paying attention. Some of the blazes are fading or have suffered from forest fires. There tends to be a lot of debris in the trail since it sees so little use. It is similar to the Munson Hills singletrack but with longer and slightly steeper uphills and downhills. However it is fun and well worth doing if the temperatures are not too high.

Recommended Route:
There are two loops. See the maps at the Lines tract Trailhead off of Cook Landing Rd.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Note that this is the same trail reviewed on MTBR as the Lake Talquin trails. Different name but same trails.

Summary:
A fun, twisting trail through dense trees. It will seem a tad tame if you are hardcore or a displaced soul used to riding out west. Big Note: The first ~ 2 miles of this trail has been CLEAR CUT in the fall of 2004. Nothing left but one marker/arrow sign surrounded by acres of stumps and sand. A huge disappointment for what would otherwise be a nice trail. The rest is still very ridable, thou it needs some TLC and more riders. This trail is great for a beginner or an after-work quickie for the more serious types. This is Florida, so of course it's mostly flat. Nice views of peaceful Lake Talquin. Big parking area with good signage, maps, and a head.

Recommended Route:
Ideal route would be counterclockwise. However due to recent logging, the first 2 miles are gone and a normal loop is difficult. Start by heading east to get on the loop, then SW going in a clockwise route. After ~7 miles, you can back-track or walk it across the clear cut sandy area to the trailhead.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Munson Hills, Tom Brown

Summary:
Great Trail. Long ride down to the shore of Lake Talquin, technical turns, ups and downs, log jumps. Takes a little while to get to but is worth the trip. The trail needs to be ridden more. Very nice facilities at the trail head!

Recommended Route:
Follow the blue paint markers!!

Summary:
This trail is great for a change of scenery. Sense the last time I had been out to the trail, some new additions for more trails had been made. It is always a beautiful ride for me. I love riding through the mangroves, pines, and scattered hardwoods. During the summer, I highly recommend bugspray ! Yellow flies & mosquitoes can make a rest stop not worth making. If you don't like deet try the all natural "SKINSCREEN" (It really works!)

Recommended Route:
The main Trail offers a wonderful start to getting off road. Easily done by novice and experts. For more energy release rides put all trails together! You can find yourself highly spent afterwards.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lake Talquin is mainly equestrian, hiking, fishing, and recreation with campgrounds and camp sites, and the other trails do not allow bikes on the trails.. For more off road, Come into Tallahassee and Visit the trails within Forest Meadows. RED BUG, Lake Overstreet single tracts, Elenor-Klapp Phipps trails.
