While the road is rather loose sand, it does have nicely banked turns. The trail is moderately paced, with several VERY rooted areas, sharp turns and 40 deg.+ descents and climbs. Other than the Powerlines trail, this is the best I have seen in Gainesville. Speed up slightly and you might catch air of one of the humps.

Trail Directions
Take Archer or University Ave. to 34th St., take 20th St. (between Kash n Karry and the bank) west. At the second traffic light, just before the I-75 overpass, take a left into the dirt "parking area". Facing the trees, try following the dirt road on the left until you spot a suitable singletrack trail. Follow this around and it will loop, running parallel to I-75 and returning to the parking area.

Summary:
A lot has changed since the last review and I figured I would update it since I know people look here.

Trail starts off as a gravel/semi-paved road that is rocky and bumpy and has some potholes. The actual singletracks have good tree coverage but there are parts that has a lot of grass that almost cover the tracks. I have accidentally wandered off the trail before.

Very fast, nothing technically, and it loops around a couple of construction site and next to fences. Near the back side of the apartments it would not be rare to find loose dirt caused by bulldozers, which also leads to some short, sharp climbs and descents. There are also a couple of crossing paths and it could get confusing.

Basically short and fast.

There are a lot, go ask about it as Mr. Goodbike on 13th Ave. They are the most knowledgeable mtbrs in the area.

Summary:
It's not really a trail at all. More of an ATV park and a place to 4 wheel. Plenty of deep mud and flexing action if you're into Jeepin'. But as for mountain bikes, this isn't even worth your time.

Summary:
I just rode these trails for the first time. They apparently are most popular with ATVs and people who dump trash. Nothing challenging, but you might get lost in the criss-crossing trails. The miscellaneous household junk and trash lining the paths ruined what might have at least been a pretty ride.
