Cross Country Rider Summary: The best trail you will find around Gainesville without making the drive to Santos. Good use of sink holes to make for some good steep ups and downs, even a couple of small jumps. Like everyone else said, there is more intermediate/expert stuff at the start, then pretty easy single track in a big loop around the property, with good technical bits (even some bridges). Much more interesting than San Felasco, but the scenery isn't as beautiful. Thanks to The Rock for supplying the land, and whoever made the trails, Good work! Recommended Route: Check out http://gainesvillecyclingclub.org/pdf/TheRockTrail.pdf for directions (courtesy of the Gainesville Cycling Club) Other recommended trails in the same area: San Felasco, Santos

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a really nice little trail with just about everything. Some good steep stuff in the beginning and a real heart pounding climb at the end. Recommended Route: Take the trail to the right. It can be a little hard to see on your first visit. I got lost my first time and finally found the trail head. Other recommended trails in the same area: Power lines used to be great until they ran us off. I would say Razorback and Santos are the next best.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Nice hard packed single trail with lots of twists and turns. You can push yourself and get a good workout while having fun. I just discovered this trail a few weeks ago and am very pleased to have a decent place to ride right in town. Recommended Route: Ride the loop either way. The trail starts in the far back right corner of the property. Look for an arrow in the trees.

Cross Country Rider Summary: 2nd POST. See my more detailed review below. I am posting another review just to up the overall rating I gave this trail before. Previously I gave this trail a 3 for overall. This was based primarily on the fact that the trail was very new, not packed down well, and was quite bumpy and slow. Now the word is out and everyone is doing their part to turn this trail into some speedy single track. It is getting much faster, and a lot more fun to ride.
Also the font section has become a little more technical and difficult UPing the fun factor and your heart rate. Recommended Route: See other post Other recommended trails in the same area: See other post
